In a case of wrong identity, someone used my picture with another name and contacted me for an internship. I said no, but somehow ended up joining it. Later realised that there were wounds on my body with purple blood and red blood. The colour of blood was changing to purple at multiple wound sites. The purple colour symbolised evil in me. Even though I did not want to do anything wrong, I was still unwillingly doing bad stuff. I tried to leave the internship but couldn’t. I saved others from joining this bad internship, but my blood was already almost purple till then.
Dreams often reflect our subconscious thoughts, feelings, and experiences. In this dream, several themes emerge that can provide insight into its meaning:
Identity and Authenticity: The theme of wrong identity suggests you may be grappling with issues related to self-perception or authenticity. This could indicate feelings of being misunderstood, misrepresented, or not fully in control of your own path. The internship represents an opportunity or responsibility that may not align with your true self or values.
Resistance and Compulsion: Your decision to initially decline the internship but later find yourself unwillingly involved points to feelings of being trapped or pressured into situations that don't reflect your desires. This may symbolize real-life experiences where you feel obligated to conform or participate in something you do not believe in.
Blood as Symbolism: Blood in dreams can reflect one's life energy, vitality, and emotional state. The changing colors of blood—purple symbolizing evil and red associating with life—may indicate a struggle between your moral compass and external pressures. The wounds could symbolize the emotional or psychological damage resulting from compromising your beliefs or giving in to societal expectations.
Guilt and Redemption: Your effort to prevent others from joining the "bad internship" while still being unable to free yourself suggests a sense of guilt or responsibility. This could reflect a part of you that strives to help others navigate similar challenges, even when you feel caught in a web of your own making.
Self-Conflict: The internal conflict portrayed in your dream highlights a battle between your intentions and actions. This could signal a need for introspection regarding your choices, values, and the consequences of your actions on both yourself and others.
Overall, this dream may be urging you to evaluate areas of your life where you feel pressured to compromise your values or identity. It invites self-reflection to determine what truly resonates with you and to explore ways to extricate yourself from situations that do not align with your authentic self. Consider if there are areas in your waking life where you feel torn, and think about how to reclaim your agency and make choices that honor your true self.
